Gentlemen,

Members of our body have stepped forward with concerns surrounding our bylaws. It has been pointed out they may not meet the requirements of the societies division of the alberta government and possibly gaming. If that is true, it's a problem we need to correct immediately.

As A result, Imran who is a lawyer in our body, and Ramish Bhambani A retired university professor and former member of our league, have accepted the challenge to look at the bylaws and make recommendations to changes where deemed necessary.

Also I'm attaching budget for infrastructure upgrades and minutes of Special general meeting held on Jan 31th 2010.

Last financial statements and the latest bank statement will be available at the Semi AGM in March. These financial statements will also be available at the new secured location on-line as soon as possible (likely mid summer).

To All Clubs,

According to the motion passed in the special general meeting (see below), E&DCL will be auctioning its bowling machine. All interested parties looking to buy the machine, must hand in their bid, in person on February 15th (Monday - Family Day) at Victoria Park Club house at 11:00 AM. Minimum starting bid is $1,500.

Motion: Sell machine as it is for the minimum of $1500. The process of selling will be sealed bid on or before 15th of February 2010.

E&DCL casino will be held on April 13th and April 14th 2010 at Palace Casino (West Edmonton Mall).


Casino volunteer forms were distributed to the member of league at the Special General body meeting (You can download form here also, see attachment below). These forms must be submitted to our casino coordinator Khalid, either through e-mail (kbacchus@flowserve.com) or fax (780-464-1801) as soon as possible.


The volunteer positions are as follows.


1) Cashiers - (Required 2 per shift - 4 total for the day and night shift)

The executive committee would like to thank the members of our league who attended the special general meeting yesterday and most of all, giving their unanimous support to the initiatives which were presented.
