E&DCL Banquet?

Gentlemen,


At the E&DCL Semi-AGM dated March 21, 2009 it was agreed upon by all clubs to hold an end of the year banquet. The purpose of the banquet is to recognize teams and individuals for outstanding performance, liaison with the city administration and community members, highlighting the growth of cricket in Edmonton and providing an opportunity for all teams to share good memories.


Keeping the objectives in mind E&DCL formed a banquet committee to organize this event. The committee consists of Zafar Khan (Head of Committee), Ronak Mehta, Fouad Choudhary and Omer Choudhary. The work for the event is underway with the following update


1. Sultan Banquet hall has been booked for Nov 14, 2009.
2. A deposit of $500.00 non refundable has been make for the booking of the hall.
3. Ticket cost is $25.00 per person
4.We are currently in the process of looking for sponsors. We have one sponsor and are looking for a couple more.
5. E&DCL has committed to a minimum of 125 persons for the event.


In order to achieve a minimum of 125 participants E&DCL is recommending that all clubs purchase a minimum of 10 tickets ( clubs with a single team ) and 15 tickets ( clubs with two teams ). Incase we are not able to have 125 participants , the Banquet will be canceled and deposit forfeited.
