| The Offences set out at 1.1 through 1.6 below are Level one Offences. The penalty for a Level one offence shall be an official reprimand and a one game suspension |

| Level 2
|
| The Offences set out at 2.1 to 2.10 below are Level 2 Offences. The penalty for a Level 2 offence shall be a fine of $100.00 and a three game suspension. |

Repeat of any Level one Offence within one season of such offence. |
| 2.2 |
Showing serious dissent at an umpire?s decision by action or verbal abuse

Serious public criticism of, or inappropriate comment on a match-related incident or match official

| 2.4 |
Inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between Players in the course of play

Charging or advancing towards an umpire in an aggressive manner when appealing

Deliberate and malicious distraction or obstruction on the field of play

Throwing the ball at or near a Player, umpire or official in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner

| 2.8 |
Using language that is obscene, offensive or of a serious insulting nature to another Player, umpire, Referee, Team Official or spectator. (It is acknowledged that there will be verbal exchanges between Players in the course of play. Rather than seeking to eliminate these exchanges entirely, umpires will look to lay charges when this falls below an acceptable standard. In this instance, language will be interpreted to include gestures).

| 2.9 |
Changing the condition of the match ball in breach of Law 42.3 [See ICC Code of Conduct]
|
| 2.10 |
Any attempt to manipulate a match in regard to the result, net run rate, bonus points or otherwise. The captain and members of any team guilty of such conduct shall be held jointly responsible.
|
| 2.11 |
Playing in an EDCL league match without ?Proper Registration? with an EDCL team. The captain and player(s) in question shall be held jointly responsible.
|
|
| Addendum to s.2.11: Proper Registration is a defined term to be used exclusively for the purpose of this code. It consists of providing to the League Secretary, or requisite League Official, 15 days notice as well as: |
| a) | a notice of registration declaring the intent to register, the belief that the proposed registration is not in conflict with any of the binding articles of the EDCL, and is signed by the endorsing captain and registrant; and |
| b) | complete contact information of the registrant; |
| c) | Such other information and documentation as the league may require. |

| Level 3
|
| The Offences set out in 3.1 to 3.4 below are Level 3 Offences. The penalty for a Level 3 Offence shall be a $200.00 fine and a five game suspension. |

| Level 4
|
| The Offences set out at 4.1 to 4.5 below are Level 4 Offences. The penalty for a Level 4 Offence shall be a $500.00 fine and a ten game suspension. |

Repeat of any Level 3 Offence in the same season as such offence

| 4.2 |
Threat of assault on an umpire or referee.

Physical assault of another Player

| 4.4 |
Any act of violence on or off the field of play by any member of the league

| 4.5 |
Using language or gestures that seriously offends, insults, humiliates, intimidates, threatens, disparages, or vilifies another person on the basis of that person?s race, religion, gender, color, descent or national or ethnic origin.

| 10. Contempt of Process |
| Failure of an offending party to comply with any of the disciplinary procedures, including but not limited to, hearings, appeals, and payment of fines, will result in an additional automatic $100 fine, suspension, or an extension of suspension periods, until: |
| a) the offending party has complied with the provisions of the code, or; |
| b) in the opinion of the League Secretary, the offending party has demonstrated that they are likely to comply in the foreseeable future. |
