  1. Jr. U-19 Western Canada Selection

    To All Clubs,

    Junior U-19 Western Canada will take place in Calgary on July 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. If any clubs thinks that they have juniors that they should be considered for possible selection then they may contact me or Gordon LaGuerre (treasurer@cricketedmonton.ca).

  2. Overzealous Appealing!

    Gentlemen,

    On the subject of excessive appealing.

    If you study the code of conduct you will note that excessive appealing is an offence and if reported carries a consequence, usually level 1, resulting in a one game suspension.

  3. Masters Intercity July 10th-11th

    To All Clubs,

    There will be a Masters Inter-city on July 10/11, 2010 @ Victoria Park. Anyone interested in playing should contact either Khalid Bacchus KBacchus@flowserve.com) or Gordon LaGuerre (treasurer@cricketedmonton.ca) before July 1st.

    The criteria for the Masters is anyone over 45 as of 2010.

  4. Schedule Updated *Jun 21, 2010*

    To All Clubs,

    Premiere, 1st Division and T20 Schedules are updated to accommodate Senior Edmonton Intercity on 26th/ 27th June weekend. U-18 Intercity is cancelled and Jr. U-18 Western Canada is shifted to Calgary. Please let me know if you find any discrepancies.

    Also SportStatz is back online! All winning teams please enter all their stats online. If any players are missing in the Sport Statz system please leave the note in the comments section. If your team account is not working please let us know immediately.

  5. Update on Millwoods Project

    Dear Gentlemen,

    It was nice to return from vacation and see a new astroturf wicket at Millwoods. The pitch itself is a huge improvement but we will see how the bounce changes as the season goes on. I consider the pitch still a work in progress; we will alter and adjust things if need be. The wood frame showing at the edges will be covered and made safer as the weather allows the contractor to resume his work. Meanwhile, anyone playing there please be careful not to twist your ankles on the uneven edges. I suggest you avoid running on the edges. Please let all your players know this.

  6. Practicing at Millwoods on Artificial Pitch

    To All Clubs,

    We are sending out a reminder to all clubs that practicing on new artificial pitch in Millwoods ground is NOT permitted. Games scheduled by league shall only be played there.

  7. Umpires Review and Rating System

    To All Umpires and team Captains,

    Umpires Review and Rating System is back online on the website. This system was designed last year to review and assess umpires and to keep track of game reports from umpires and officials and their payouts. This can be accessed from left hand columns under Links Menu > Review & Rating System.

  8. Schedule Updated *May 27, 2010*

    To All Clubs,

    Games cancelled on May 15th, 16th and 17th in Millwoods due to pitch construction are rescheduled.

    Also 2009 Howe Cup final between Edmonton and Rising Stars have been scheduled for Monday, Jun 14th.

    Please see the updated schedule for Premiere, first and T20 Divisions on the website. All changes are reflected in bold letters.

    To All Clubs,

    All teams player's lists have been added on the website. Only those players are listed
    who have paid the player levy. We consider this as official list as of today (May 27th,
    2010) and only these players are eligible to play in the league. Please ensure that your
    team list is correct and there are no discrepancies. If you think that your team players
    are missing from the list then please contact us immediately.

  10. Cricket Balls Distribution
